Your privacy matters to us. This privacy policy explains in plain language what personal data Trustly Casinos collects, how data is processed and protected, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our principle is to collect as little data as possible — only what's needed to run the site and improve it.
1. Data controller
Trustly Casinos (hereafter “we”) is responsible for the processing of personal data on this website. We are an independent comparison portal covering online casinos in Estonia that support Trustly, i.e. bank link payments. We are not the official Trustly website and are not affiliated with Trustly Group AB. For data protection questions, write to info@trustlykasiinod.ee or use the contact form.
2. What personal data we collect
- Usage and device data: anonymous statistics about site visits, popular pages, approximate location (country level), IP address and browser type.
- Cookies: to run the site and measure usage (see point 4).
- Contact details: only if you email us or fill in the contact form — name, email address and the content of your message.
We do not collect payment data, or bank or gambling account details — those are processed by the casino and the payment service provider, not by us.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process personal data only where there is a legal basis under the GDPR: your consent (e.g. analytics cookies), our legitimate interest (site security and statistics) or a legal obligation (where the law requires it). You can withdraw consent at any time.
We don't sell your personal data or share it for marketing purposes. Most of the information we collect is anonymous aggregate statistics that help us improve the site.
4. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use essential cookies to run the site and analytics cookies to understand which content is useful to visitors. Analytics data is aggregated and is not intended to identify you. You can manage, block and delete cookies in your browser at any time.
5. Affiliate links and tracking
The site contains affiliate links to casinos. If you click such a link, the partner may use a cookie to record your referral — this is a normal part of advertising disclosure and costs you nothing extra. Read more on the advertising disclosure page.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed on our behalf by trusted service providers (e.g. web hosting and analytics) — so-called processors, contractually obliged to protect the data and use it only on our instructions. Data may also be disclosed where the law expressly requires it.
7. Data retention
We keep emails and enquiries only as long as necessary to answer the enquiry or as required by law. We hold anonymous statistics in aggregate form only. If you ask us to delete your data, we'll do so as soon as we can.
8. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration and loss — for example an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access restrictions. Nevertheless, no transmission of data over the internet is one hundred percent secure.
9. Your rights under the GDPR
The General Data Protection Regulation gives you several rights. To exercise them, write to us and we'll respond within a reasonable time:
- the right of access to the data we hold about you;
- the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
- the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten);
- the right to restrict processing or to object to it;
- the right to data portability to another service provider;
- the right to withdraw consent at any time.
If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you have the right to contact the supervisory authority — the Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).
10. Children's privacy
The site is intended for those aged at least 21. We do not knowingly collect minors' personal data. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it without delay.
11. Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll announce significant changes on the site and update the effective date. We recommend reviewing the policy occasionally.
